Facilities Request Form

IMPORTANT NOTE: This form is intended exclusively for events affiliated with the Diocese of Little Rock. It is not for parish ministries or external groups unaffiliated with the parish (families, community groups, or other private entities).


Facility Details

  • Room A & B – Accommodates five round tables (72") (with eight people per table) and two 8' rectangular tables for serving OR six 8' rectangular tables with thirty chairs and two 6' - 8' tables for serving/additional use.
  • Education Room – Accommodates forty people with round tables, fifty people with rectangular tables, and sixty people with chairs.
  • McDonald Hall – Accommodates eight round tables (30-72") comfortably and ten at maximum. Three-hundred chairs are available.


Responsibilities of Those Using McDonald Hall and Kitchen Facilities


  • Obtain a personal code to McDonald Hall entrance from the Cathedral Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday, or 8:30 – 12:00 Noon on Friday, two weeks prior to the event. If a key is needed, the key must be returned the following business day.


  • Unlock and lock all doors to the Hall before and after the event. The Rector and/or Cathedral staff are not responsible for opening or closing the doors of the building.


  • Turn on/off all lighting in the Hall, including the chandelier. Please do not turn off the foyer light.


  • Receive instructions on how to turn the sound system (microphones, etc.) on and off.


  • Smoking, vaping, and drug use are not permitted. The Cathedral and all facilities are a smoke/vape and drug free campus. Please ensure that guests adhere to this policy before, during, and after the event.


  • Leave the Hall and facilities in the condition in which they were found upon arrival. Any repair of damage shall be assumed by those renting the Hall.


  • Leave the kitchen (appliances, countertops, sinks, etc.) clean.


  • McDonald Hall, as well as any tables used, must be swept, mopped, and otherwise cleaned.


  • Take all trash bags to the dumpster in the back alley, just outside the back door to the Hall, unless there is a just reason not to do so. The dumpster key is on the wall in the mop closet located at the end of the hallway leading to the back-alley door.


  • Mops and brooms are in the mop closet.


  • Trash bags are in the janitor's closet to the left of the sink in the kitchen.


  • Please report anything broken or out of order to the Cathedral Facilities Manager, 501-374-2794 #230.


McDonald Hall and Kitchen Use


The facility is used by many groups. Each group enjoys coming to a clean facility. We ask that you respect and honor our facilities by following our policies and procedures. When you leave, please leave it in the same clean condition and order that it was when you arrived. If you notice something wrong or broken upon arrival or departure, please notify the Cathedral Facilities Manager immediately, 501-374-2794, ext. 230.


Parish Organization/Group Leaders are responsible for reserving the designated space, date, and time by contacting the Cathedral Office.


Cookware, serving trays, water pitchers, bakeware, are in the room behind the McDonald Hall Kitchen.


Please wash all utensils in hot soapy water after each use. Wipe tabletops after each use.


All storage areas are labeled. Please return used items clean and paper products to their proper places. Do not leave cookware, pitchers, or utensils to air-dry.


Leave used towels in the sink. The Cathedral staff will collect them.


Ensure all burners are turned off.


Turn off the coffee pot.


Turn off all lights. The hallway light will automatically go out.


First Aid Kit and AED Machine

Located on the back of the Janitor’s Closet door in the McDonald Hall Kitchen. Trash bags, brooms, cleaner, etc. are also located in this closet. The AED Machine is in the McDonald Hall foyer on the column to the right by the glass windows.


Fire Procedures

A Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher is located at the end of the McDonald Hall work counter. This may be used for GREASE FIRES ONLY.


  1. Call 911. Your location is 617 Louisiana Street, McDonald Hall
  2. Turn off the heat source
  3. Use a metal lid to cover the pot or pan
  4. Use the Fire Extinguisher


A Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher is in the storage closet with the pots and pans. This may be used on wood, paper, cloth, trash, flammable liquids, and energized electrical equipment.


  1. Pull the Pin
  2. Aim the Nozzle
  3. Squeeze the Trigger
  4. Sweep the Fire side to side, going under the flames.
