Knights of Columbus Council, #16947
The Knights of Columbus Council 16947 serves as a representative body within the Cathedral, bringing together members of the congregation to support the mission and ministry of the church. Its primary role is to provide guidance, discernment, and leadership in matters related to the spiritual life, operations, and long-term vision of the Cathedral.
Council members work collaboratively with clergy and staff to help steward resources, support ministry initiatives, and ensure effective communication across the congregation. This includes discussing and advising on areas such as outreach, worship life, community engagement, and organizational needs. The Council also helps identify opportunities for growth and responds to the evolving needs of the parish.
Ultimately, the Council exists to serve the Cathedral by fostering unity, encouraging faithful stewardship, and helping to carry out the church’s mission in both word and action.
